JIME, Journal of Interactive Media in Education 2/2004 - Special Issue on Designing for the Disciplines

JIME yllätti myönteisesti julkaisemalla toisenkin erikoisnumeron vuonna 2004. Sen aiheena on tieteiden välinen yhteistyö ja mahdollisuudet tehdä opetusmateriaaleja ja kursseja useamman tieteenalan tai oppiaineen yhteisvoimin. Artikkelit on alunperin esitetty Oxfordissa 2003 pidetyssä konferensissa. Tavoitteena oli "Vanhan ravistelu" ja konkreettisemmin "raise the problems of trying to streamline the process of creating material across disciplines, and how to build-in flexibility to allow for reuse". Tuloksena on 7 artikkelia ja niistä käytävä verkkokeskustelu. Ehdottomasti kiinnostava alue, jota ei ole liiemmälti mietitty, ei meillä eikä muuallakaan.
