International Conference on "University Students in the 19th-21st Century " organized by "Education and Society" Doctoral School of University of Pécs jointly with Education Sociology Section of Hungarian Sociological Association. and jointly with the Research Network Sociology of Education of the European Sociological Association Date and Venue: 23rd May 2006, University of Pécs, Ifjuság u 6, Hungary Deadline for submission: 30rd April 2006 Language of the conference: English and Hungarian Presentations will be published in an e-book. Resumes of English language presentations will previously available for participants before the conference. Deadline : 10rd May 2006 Those wishing to give their presentation in Hungarian are obliged to submit the resume of their presentation in English preliminary. Titles of cross-tables, graphs etc. and titles of chapters should be in English (or Hungarian and English). 10rd May 2006 Conference fee: 20 EUR, payable at 23rd May 2006, University of Pécs. You can apply for a maximum 20 EUR scholarship to cover your expenses. The cost of publication is subject to length of presentation and includes the cost-price of digital editing. General information on the Research Network The Sociology of Education research network organized several sessions at the
Helsinki-conference. The aim was to provide a forum for diverse educational research,
ranging from broad comparative research to everyday practices and processes in school and
