The newsletter of the European Sociological Association, European Sociologist, is a major means for the Association communicating with sociologists of Europe. It contains details of the developing structure of the organisation, including news of an evolving net of research networks; news of conferences, seminars and events; regular features such as opportunities for funding and occupational mobility in an European context and so forth.
The ESA electronic 'bulletin board', european-sociologist, provides a medium both for the quick dissemination of announcements and queries and for the discussion of issues and topics of general interest to the ESA membership.

The ESA intends European Sociologist to be a bulletin for the dissemination of information to the widest possible audience.
