European Sociological Association, 8th Conference, Glasgow, 3rd - 6th September, 2007
Dear Colleagues,
Here is the list of the themes for the “Regional Network on Southern European Societies” sessions at the 8th Conference of the European Sociological Association, which will convene in Glasgow, 3-6 September 2007. The general theme for the 8th ESA conference is ‘Conflict, Citizenship and Civil Society’.
- Biotechnologies, Science and Society in Southern Europe
- Cultural Economy in Southern Europe
- Distinctiveness and Social Identities in Southern Europe
- Migration in Southern Europe
- Trends in Rural Southern Europe
- Open Theme
You are kindly invited to submit your paper proposals. Paper abstracts need to be submitted through the official website, indicating the preferred session and if desired an alternative session in case of non- acceptance from the first session. The deadline is 28th February and the submission form can be found at <http://www.esa8thconference.com/>
