Short Definition of a Bachelor's Degree

As a general rule, the Bachelor's degree is the lowest academic degree, and its length is at least three to four years of full-time study. It normally contains at least one major subject, one minor subject and several compolsory studies, although it might also consist of two major subjects, depending on the field(s) studied.

Applicants with a degree completed in a Polytechnic / University of Applied Sciences are eligible to apply if they have completed university level studies in the same field they apply for (e.g. at the Open University in Finland). The studies ought to be comparable to the studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
