Information on Examination

At the entrance examination 2006 the subjects are divided into four groups:

  1. Group one: Sociology, Social Policy, Social Psychology and Social and Cultural Anthropology
  2. Group two: Economics
  3. Group three: Political Science, Social Sciences History, Moral and Social Philosophy and Development studies
  4. Group four: Statistics

Applicants can be admitted to only one subject. It is possible to apply for a maximum of three subjects, but it is strongly recommended that these subject are from the same group since one can only answer to one set of questions at the examination. If the applicant answers more than one set of questions, s/he will be evaluated on basis of the answers in which s/he has the least points

If the applicant is applying for subjects of different groups, s/he must decide at the examination, at the latest, which set of questions s/he answers and which subject is his/her priority number 1 (2 and 3). The idea of the groups is that if the applicant manages to have over 2/3 of the points, but the quota for his/her first priority is already full, s/he can still be accepted to some other subject of his/her group presuming that his/her points are higher than the points of other applicants for this subject.
