Short definition of a Bachelor´s degree

As a general rule, the Bachelor´s degree is the lowest academic degree, and its length is at least three to four years of full-time study. It normally contains at least one major subject, one minor subject and several compolsory studies, although it might also consist of two major subjects, depending on the field(s) studied.

Important notice: holders of a BBA-diploma from a Finnish Polytechnic Institution are not considered as holders of a Bachelor´s degree, since it is obtained from a Finnish polytechnic and not from a university. The holders of such a degree ought to take part in the The General Admission procedure.
