Service Fees

The first library card is free of charge, as is borrowing publications.

Fees are charged for overdue material, for replacement of lost library cards and lost library material.

Reservations are free of charge for material from the Social Science Library.

Fees are charged as follows:

Fees can be paid either in cash or by Finnish bank cards or by most major credit cards.

Library Card: The first HELKA card is free of charge. Replacement for a lost card: 8,40 €

Fines for overdue loans:

The fines vary according to collection:

• Text books (night and week loans): 1 € / day
• Other material: 0,15 € / day

Compensation for lost material:

Compensation for lost or damaged books or periodicals: a minimum of 50,00 € / item.
