Video can become a powerful tool for anyone. However ‘participatory video’ used to enhance the ‘voice’ of the disadvantaged requires sharing or even handing over control of video content to these new video makers. Dr Nathaniels will illustrate some uses of video & participatory video using examples from Tanzania and Ghana.

If time permits, chance to try some of video training techniques, discuss ways to use video for ideas and skills sharing, learning, advocacy, monitoring, capacity building.
