A8f/A9f Creating a Web Magazine

It is recommended that students attend to Journalism in the Web course before taking Creating a Web Magazine.

! This course can be registered for degree students under the study units A8 Work Analysis or A9f, Networks and Communication.

The students will produce a web-based magazine on a given theme. They will form an editorial team and decide about the contents and the outlook of the magazine. Please find the old editions of the webmagazine on the left column.

25 students will be accepted to the course. Priority is given to communication students and especially to students who have attended the "Journalism in the Web" course by Marja Heinonen in period I. Other students can join the course if there are vacant places, please come to the first session to find out if there is any room available.

Course Description:

The aim of this course is to assist students to plan and organize the production of a webmagazine in English. At the beginning of the course students are expected to organize themselves establishing an editorial, technical and journalistic unit.

Preregistration in WebOodi (code 770058) is required! The registration starts on 9.10.2008 and ends on 15.10.2008.
