Objectives
A degree student of Social and Moral Philosophy has the possibility to complete an internship as part of her/his studies and to apply for a grant from her/his department to cover the internship costs. The Department provides information on training places at public offices, research institutes, etc. Information on vacant training places is available at the Department in the beginning of the Spring term. If a student has found a training place on her own, it can also be included in the advanced studies. For more information, contact the Foreign Students’ Adviser. Alternatively, the student can participate in at least three Labour Market Orientation Course(s) arranged by Faculty of Social Sciences and/or Helsinki University Career services.
Mode of assessment
A training period of at least 3 months in a position agreed upon in advance with the Foreign Students' Adviser and a written report on the training. Alternatively, active participation in at least three Labour Market Orientation Courses and a written report / study diary.
