Objectives

An introduction to elements of formal logic including propositional and predicate logic and basic notions of set-theory.

Mode of assessment

Lecture course with an examination (in Finnish or Swedish), or a written report on a theme using sources agreed with the supervisor, or a book examination in Faculty of Arts’ faculty examination for Basic Studies.
