Content

Contemporary media culture is strongly based on the visual. This course will provide theoretical and practical discussion on visual communication and importance of visual literacy regarding to e.g. television, cinema, print and new media. Examples are also drawn from various genres such as news, drama and advertising. Visual communication will be studied from various perspectives as gender and intersectionality. The course consists on several lecturers´ talks.
