KA12. Bachelor's Thesis and Maturity Test
Objectives
The aim is to familiarise the student with writing scientific texts and with research methods in economics.Mode of assessment
The aim is to start writing the Bachelor´s thesis and completing it as far as possible during the intermediate seminar (see study unit KA10). The length of the thesis is approximately 15 - 25 pages.N.B. Submitting the Bachelor´s thesis
The paper to be submitted as the thesis will first be read by the official language examiner of the Faculty to assess the sufficiency of the student´s command of correctly written scientific language. The paper is to be handed to the International Affairs´ Officer of the Faculty, who will forward it to the person in charge of the language check-up. When your Bachelor´s thesis is ready to be submitted, you have to enrol in order to submit it using WebOodi. The thesis must be submitted in duplicate to the department´s office (Arkadiankatu 7) after the language verification and after finishing the intermediate seminar, by the end of the next period of instruction at the latest.
