Objectives
The aim is to familiarise the student with independent research work and methods in economics. Further focus is on the use of references and writing scientific texts. New scientific results are not necessarily required from a good Master’s thesis. When choosing the subject for the Master’s thesis pay attention to how viable the subject is and the amount of work it demands. The workload of the Master’s thesis should reflect the 40 credits which are awarded.Mode of assessment
The student receives guidance from the professor in question when writing the Master’s thesis.Starting from the first of September 2005, students do not need to write a separate maturity test in order to graduate.
N.B. Submitting the Master´s thesis
When your Master´s thesis is ready to be submitted, you have to enrol in order to submit it using Weboodi. You can not submit your Thesis, unless you have taken care of the practice essay and the score is correctly added in the registry.
