Exercises on Fridays at 12-14 starting on 11th of September adn then 18.9., 2.10., 9.10., 16.10., 23.10., and 6.11.2009. Exercises will be arranged separately for University of Helsinki students and HSE students. Place for students of University of Helsinki: Economicum, seminar room 3-4, Assistant: Saara Hämäläinen.
Students from University of Helsinki register via WebOodi. Students from HSE register by filling out registration form (available from HSE, Ms Kristiina Pohjanen) and returning it to the office of the department of economics of HSE (Arkadiankatu 7, 2nd floor, Ms Kristiina Pohjanen) one week before the first lecture at the latest.

The course will be lectured at the University of Helsinki jointly for students of the University of Helsinki and for students of Helsinki School of Economics. This course is only meant for major subject students of the department of Economics.Content
Lectures in English.Readings: Jehle, Geoffrey A. and Reny, Philip J. (2001): Advanced Microeconomic Theory.
The course covers consumer and producer theory, choice under uncertainty, market structure, and general equilibrium. Models of strategic interaction and basic models of information economics are also presented.
