Seminar in Economic Measurement

The seminar focuses on theoretical and practical aspects of economic measurement. Specific topics will be determined according to the participants' interests. However, suitable themes include index number theory, construction of economic time series, aggregation, measurement of output, productivity and capital, to name a few.

At each meeting a relevant scientific article is presented by either the teacher or a participant. The participants are required to familiarize themselves with the articles in advance. The exact requirements for getting the credits will be determined during the first meeting.
