Objectives

The aim of the seminar is to give the PhD students an opportunity to present and discuss their work with other students and teachers and thus to help them in the conduct of their research.

Content

The seminar will discuss the research proposals of the new participants and research experiences of the more advanced doctoral students. New students will first attend the seminar for two terms (one academic year, 10 credits). During this time they are expected to revise their proposal so that they are ready to embark on empirical work at latest at the end of this period. After having worked on the field or elsewhere the student will attend one more term (5 credits).
