Finnish Society and Culture
This program aims at introducing international students to Finland. It will provide a versatile picture of Finland; the eventful history, the idiosyncrasies of the society as well as law, media and other relevant topics.
The program consists of separate courses. They may be taken either individually or grouped together as a minor subject (the minimum requirement of the University of Helsinki for a minor subject is 25 Finnish study points). The courses are organised by several universities in the Helsinki Area.
