The seminar covers the whole study unit P230.

Target group/Course level

Primarily for students majoring in the Subprogramme of Politics. Also for minor students and exchange students of political science. The maximum number of students attending the course is 35.

Objectives

The objective of the course is to increase students´ capacity to analyze, understand and evaluate different forms of ethnic and cultural diversity, historical and contemporary relations between diversity and politics, and the main theories and policy practices in this field.

Completion

Assignments and exam (including course literature).

Grading

The course work will be graded on a scale from 0 to 5. The grading criteria will be specified in the course.

Course results and retake

The results of the course will be posted on the notice board of the Department.

The exam retake will be held Mon 24.5. at 16-18, PI. Prior registration for the exam retake between 6.-13.5. in WebOodi. Don't mind if WebOodi informs you that you have already taken the course.

Course evaluation anddevelopment

During the last session, students will have an opportunity to give feedback on the course to the lecturer and to fill in an anonymous evaluation form. During the course feedback can be given anonymously.
